Dr. Stubbs attended high school in North Miami, Florida. In the spring of tenth grade, he met Debbie, the woman that would later become his wife. They have two sons, Sean and Zachary, four granddaughters and one grandson.
Sean lives in Costa Rica, where he is the office liason for visiting patients staff and other guests. Check out our Gallery and links to find out why this may become important for you. Sean has two daughters and one son. You can appreciate his concern in the photos above and below as his purple kayak approaches Second Ledge on the Chatuga River.
Zachary lives in the panhandle of Florida with his wife, Casi, and their two daughters. Casi has an orthodontic practice in Blue Water Bay. Zachary is the paddler in the blue kayak. He is attempting to run a well known class V rapid, Bull Sluice, also on the Chatuga. The intensity of his expression is the result of capsizing on his first try. He's tired and more than a little frightened.
Less importantly, in 1975, Dr. Stubbs graduated from the Emory School of Dentistry in Atlanta. Two years later he received his Orthodontic Certification from the University Of Kentucky School Of Dentistry. That same year the office in Brandon was opened in July.
In an effort to maintain the interest of his sons, Dr Stubbs developed a variety of activities that are reflected in the eclectic decor of the office. Patients will discover a hangglider and harness, surfboards, kayaks, snowboards, a paramotor flown by William Shatner and Larry Hagman, a paraplane, paraglider harnesses and kiteboarding and rock climbing equipment.
